Trips
The school plans an annual trip that is open to all students in good conduct and academic standing. Prior trips have been to New York, Washington, D.C., Gettysburg, Baltimore, Chicago, the Georgia Coast, Florida, and many other educationally culturally enriched areas. While many of the enrolled students are well-travelled, many of them have not been on formal tours with specific educational goals in mind. Chaperoning the students are faculty members and interested parents.
The metropolitan Atlanta area has immense educational, cultural, athletic, and recreational opportunities for class field trips as well as weekend activities for the boarding students. Academic field trips are planned in conjunction with the curriculum, and weekend activities are based on students’ interests.
